Jennifer Lopez To Take On ‘Carmen Sandiego’

The superstar is lined up to produce - and possibly star in - a big screen live-action version of the famous video game-turned-animated series “Where in the World Is Carmen Sandiego?,” according to Deadline.

If she does star in the feature, she would play the title character - one of the world’s greatest detectives who becomes the world’s greatest thief. It’s then up to her ex-partner to uncover if she’s really gone bad.

This wouldn’t be the first time “Carmen Sandiego” was picked up as a movie. In the late ’90s, Disney tried to develop a version starring Sandra Bullock, but it never materialized, according to Deadline.
